How to Compare Unit Prices
The best deal isn't always the item with the lowest total price, it's the one with the lowest price per unit (per gram, per liter, per item, etc). This calculator divides each product's price by its quantity to find the true cost per unit, so you can compare like-for-like even when package sizes differ.
Make sure both products' quantities are entered in the same unit of measurement (both in grams, or both in milliliters, for example) for an accurate comparison.

Why isn't the bigger package always the better deal?
Larger packages are often, but not always, cheaper per unit, sometimes 'value size' packaging or sales on smaller items can flip the math, which is exactly why comparing unit price directly matters.
