How Weighted Grades Are Calculated
Many courses weight different categories differently — for example, homework might be worth 20% of your grade, tests 50%, and a final exam 30%. This calculator multiplies each category's score by its weight and sums the results to give your overall weighted grade.
For best accuracy, make sure your weights add up to 100%. If you haven't taken a category yet (like a final exam), leave it out and add it once you know your score, or use it to reverse-engineer what score you'd need.
